I expected a big delay from fire trucks. But there was no fire. I had just driven under a "forming" tornado. Duh. So I take off after stopping and there is this 300 yard diameter "circle" of clouds, dust and whatever swirling around my car (in the middle). I'm like in the middle of a tornado and it's moving in the same direction I am. I had to drive through the "wall" to get free and my wife's little Honda Civic felt like it was going to tip over when I blasted through the outside of that swirling mass. I'm beyond thinking, just reacting and speed limits be damned. After I "broke free", I looked behind me and sure enough, there was a tornado funnel, not 50 yards away. I must have just got "out" before it touched down. Talk about the old heart pounding. I've still kept the official police report on a confirmed tornado in the little village of Poy Sippi, Wisconsin. The 4-way stop IS Poy Sippi....
Wowzers.

that's all I have to say.
