I like the D2. If I was not so heavily stocked in Stratas, I would be buying the D2. That being said, my swing speed is probably not quite enough to take full advantage of a tour level ball. I have been playing them for the feel and I did gain some distance over some of the earlier models of soft 2-piece balls. I believe the D2 would allow me to gain some more distance while maintaining the short game feel of a 3 piece. It works for me.
