| I've hit the old PX's, and found them harsh. They're very Tour oriented and for the better player in my view.
I've heard nothing but good things about the Black Gold, but I've never hit them myself. I think Bames could chime in here about iron shafts. He had some pretty positive things to say about the Black Gold, if I recall correctly.
