Well, I played today on Bermuda for just the 2nd time in my life. Sheesh....
I can't chip out of that stuff... did just fine practicing before the round, but on the course it was a disaster. I was told that the greens are some strain that isn't as grainy as Bermuda usually is. All I know is that there was still a lot more grain than I've ever seen in Colorado, but I was able to figure out the putting after 5 or 6 holes. But the chipping problems never went away. I was getting around the greens in regulation most of the time, but I can't remember the last time I mad so many double bogies because of having to hit 2 or even 3 chips before I got the chance to putt. The result was a smooth 100.... been a long time since I shot a 3 digit score.
Any suggestions from you tropical experts would be welcome....
