| Greens and Putts in regulation question.
Say you are playing a par 4 and your second shot lands on the fringe of the green. Does this count as a green in regulation?
If you are on the fringe or in the light rough but decide to use your putter instead of chipping does this count as a putt?
I used to count putts any time I used my putter even when I was in the rough but someone told me putts only count if you are on the green. I like to use my putter any time I can. After I started just counting my putts only on the green my putting stats look much better. |
