You probably aren't too far off. When I was still in college I was playing to a 0.3 handicap at the time, I thought it would be fun to try and get on one of the tours. Against regional opponents I did fairly well and getting on a new course and shooting -2 was exciting. Then we started playing teams out of Arizona, Texas, Florida and bunch of other schools from the south east US. These kids were coming in just tearing up the courses we played on, shooting -6,-7, or -8 under. And I have only seen a few of them it on any of the tours (of course I don't remember a lot of there names) so maybe a few more then I know of.

Personally I would take a 100 ft chip over a 100 ft putt 99.9% of the time. On some courses, getting on the greens means you still had most of your work ahead of you.
