| Well it makes sense to my engineering side that they would make the bond stronger which is why I asked. I've used them in the last irons I built and a few of the drivers I've worked on. I didn't with the putters though. I'll just use them all the time as they are cheap and I've got lots of the stuff.
We used to use what was called "microballoons" back when I built a lot of RC models. I just googled it and it's the same stuff. We used it for the same reasons too.
