| Any coating will change the impact qualities of the club. Powder coating is very hard compared to other coatings and also a lot smoother than a typical club face. You would most likely end up really changing the ball spin properites of the face which could really effect you ball flight.
Besides, you would probably kill any resale value of the clubs if you are planning to sell them down the line.
Leave than as is or send them out to a professional oufit to have them refinished.
