| I started a friend who I'm teaching to play with the interlocking grip since that's what I've always used. He was hitting the ball pretty weak but swing speed and path was OK. I showed him the overlap grip and he immediately started blasting the ball a lot higher and farther. His hands are bigger than mine so I guess this makes sense.
