| My new irons will be delivered this morning. I've played my DCI Golds for 14 years and am going with TaylorMade r7 XD's.
It's going to be a massive change for me. The clubs are 3-5 degrees stronger lofted than my old ones so all of my traditional yardages are going out the window. These clubs are also more offset than the Titleists and I am going to have to adjust to this. And I am going to need another wedge which I am going to pursue once I am certain that I like the clubs because I am going to have a 25 yard gap that needs to be filled.
Hopefully within six weeks I'll have it down.
I've got the same TM Rescue Mid with the draw bias you indicated - AND I am a right to left player, so I will be interested in your opinion of your new hybrid. I think mine has to go and I've got to get something neutral. The club is hard enough to control as it is... |
