While playing with guys that are like 80 years old that keep the ball in the fairway, rarely lose a golf ball, and therefore would score about as good as I do, I came to the conclusion that if when I swing the club it feels like how I would imagine an 80 year old swings in not wanting to break every bone and tear every muscle in the body in the process of hitting the ball, maybe I wouldn't lose as many golf balls as they usually do not leave my site and even though the 80 year old commonly has to ask me where their ball went, I usually have no trouble picking it out. Amazing how well that has worked for me over the last year. In the process I also realize that although I may lose 10-20 yards, the majority of the time it does not hit tree's, houses and scare the animals on the course hiding out in the woods when they see me coming, so on average my distance is likely more. |
Wow. The scary part is that I almost understood that.
