| I hit my 2i hybrid about the same distance as my 5 wood when I hit it well. I've stopped carrying the 5 wood for the most part since I can hit a wider variety of shots with the hybrid and I seem to face a lot of different shots/conditions from that range (190-210 yds.)
I'm just getting back on my game though so that could change. Last Friday when I played, my 2i hybrid was a good friend to have along for the round -- I ended up hitting a lot of good shots with it.
Club mix in the bag is an interesting subject and I think you have to match the clubs with how you play and your overall game, based on which clubs will help you score the best.
