| Totally reminds me of the first time I broke 100 which was the same day I broke 90. Also took me about 2 years to do. I have told this story here before, but I'll do it again since it's fitting.
I shot a 38 front, thinking, "sweet, even if I shoot 61, I'm going to break 100". Then I proceed to shoot a 44 on the back nine for an 82 on the day (par 71). My goodness what a day. Stupid thing is I was playing as a single that day so I didn't know my playing partners. My friends still have doubts I shot an 82 (I'm a regular 95+ player). That was less than a year ago, but I have yet to get even close to 90 since. Sigh... |
