| Sounds to me like you are heading down the right road mentally. I'm in the same boat; I have a couple of blow-up holes, but keep my chin up and recover. It's funny, but I almost always par the next hole.
The next step for me is to play a bit more conservatively, and avoid the blow-ups altogether.
