The only conceivable situation I'd use a hybrid is putting from the rough just off the green. Even then, my 3 iron works fine in that situation. I don't have a 2 iron - my club set doesn't have them, but you can me damn sure I'd have them if I could - but my 3 iron is better out of every lie. Especially rough - the leading edge will cut through the rough leading to better contact than the more rounded hybrid. |

, I use my 3 & 4 iron and hit them well but when the balls sat down in the semi or rough then they are use less in my hands
