To answer your questions, in no particular order:
Girlfriend paying up: no, at least not yet.
Handicap requirments: I wrote them an email, and they never answered.
Website says 144 lowest handicaps who enter, so I probably have no chance. I'll be OK with that, this year.
Stress: I'm chewing the heck out of some Nicorette gum. Started out at 8 pieces of 2mg gum per day. Now I'm down to 5. Sunday I played golf with a guy who was smoking cigs and I almost bummed one off of him, but I knew that was a slippery slope, so I kept to the gum. He was playing worse than I was, anyway.
I'm also dieting again, as I don't want to gain any weight and I could stand to lose 10 pounds.
