Some of the craziest stuff always happened to me! (just one of many stories)

When I was 4-5 years old, my day had a little shed in the backyard used to keep a couple of lawnmowers out of the weather. The shed had been built out of planks from old pallets. Anyway, one of the planks had fallen out from the middle of the roof, leaving a gap just big enough for us to climb through (we were pretending it was a tank). To get through, you had to work your shoulders through and then turn your head just right to squeeze through. Once, just as I was dropping down, someone said something causing me to turn my head the wrong way. Suddenly, I'm stuck hanging by my head, toes hanging above the mower below me. In such a position, I couldn't pull myself back up through the gap and didn't have enough leverage on the mower to push up enough to free my head.

One of the other kids rushed to get my mother. She was too small (tiny lady) to pick me up from that position and couldn't free me. She had to run and call my dad home from work to get me loose (he worked close by). Lucky I didn't break my neck or choke to death.
