I seem to recall an advertising campaign from Wilson a few years ago for the ir 'True' range of balls. Apparently each ball was guaranteed to be pefectly balanced, and it was supposed to make a big difference to your game etc etc.

I tried the True tour and it was a crap ball with zero feel. Needless to say the True line didn't take off and they were practically giving them away. I would suggest that most balls keep their shape pretty well these days and puting comes down more to the feel of the ball than any supposed balance.
