Hello all,

I have only recently come to love this sport (much to the consternation of my wife and friends who loathe golf) but have managed to get out and play on my own pretty regularly for a little over a year now.

I shoot in the low 100s to high 90s fairly consistently and I am constantly looking for ways to improve my game.

But here is the catch. (for some anyway)

I am a notorious cheapskate and I love the challenges playing golf on the cheap can present. I love cheap courses and even cheaper clubs. (Paid $35 for the set I have now. Yes that's right, the entire set was $35.) If you know any good and cheap courses in my neck of the woods I'd love to know.

Other than that, I just simply love playing the game. Getting outside and enjoying a day on the links is about as good as it gets for me.

Finally, if you're in the area, fond of cheap courses, and in need of someone to play with, perhaps I can make arrangements. I always need to get out and play golf more than I already do.
