You must have missed a few Pats games.

He hooked up with Moss on several bombs this year. The Pats take what you give them. The Jags decided to take Moss away and let the Pats work the short passes, so they did. If the Jags decided to blitz more often, you would have seen some longer pass plays like the one to Stallworth in the second half. Football is not about balls, its about brains. As long as your winning, does it really matter how you got to 17-0?
If its so easy connecting on passes under 10 yards, why isn't anyone else doing it? Because they can't.

Kind of reminds me of the 49'ers offense in the 80's and 90's. Everyone said it was a simple/safe offense, but how many teams that tried the West Coast offense actually succeeded with it? The short passing game sure looks easy on TV, but it requires proper execution and talent. Again, if it is so fool proof, why isn't anyone else running the offense? Its kind of like Freddy Funk when he plays on tour. Short and in the fairway. Everybody says its a safe/easy way to play, but Freddy is still winning on two tours now. If its so easy, why isn't anyone else succeeding playing the same way? You have to be able to execute it precisely with no mistakes.
