Release is on a distinguished road
It's pretty tough to walk for several holes in the back, up hill all the way and long.
Avoid the sandy waste area at all cost, full of foot prints and very difficult to advance the golf ball. Green fee had gone up 14% comparing to last year's already and w/ the 2010 U.S. Amateur and 2015 U.S. Open, we'd expect the green fee keeps going up.
It's a muni course but the green fee is not even close to the muni level, quite high for this area in a matter of the fact; $130 for weekdays and $171 for weekends + 17% of sales tax and luxury tax on top, it's not an average Joe's Muni for certain.
If you ever get to play it, don't forget to play the Home Course for the PNGA and WSGA less than 30 minutes away in Dupont The Home Course not the same caliber but a good golf course for the money.
I believe both course offer hald price green fee for replay.
Chambers Bay does not allow golf cart walking only, at Home Course you could ride for the replay if you wish.
