Good for you. Tell me what you gain by hitting your irons real long? I'm 60 years old and I hit my 7-iron 150 swinging easy. We'll see how you do when you grow up.... (JK)

Seriously. You hit a 9-iron to a green 150 yards away, I hit a 7-iron. We both land on the green. What have you gained? Only the ability to say you swing faster then I do. As long as you know your iron distances it's irrelavent what club you hit to get there. Matter of fact, if you hit your 9-iron or PW 150 yards you then need all kinds of wedges to fill the gaps. Try playing some of these 80 year old duffer club members who shoot around 40 for nine holes because they're deadly with their short game where the scoring is done.
