well when i first started getting more into swing mechanics, i thought both tiger and hogan had a hint of stack and tilt. i tried to immulate their swing, especially hogans w/ stack and tilt in mind and i just couldn't do it. video myself w/ and w/o clubs, and nothing came close.

what i realized though, is that hogan and tiger both turn w/ excellent right hip pivot, that it "seems" like reverse pivot almost. this creates proper weight shift to the right (although some say there is no weight shift in golf swing) which enables both tiger and hogan to shift their weight back to lefts side to brace and pivot (hogan's power drill comes to mind), rotating on left hip axis. once their weight is shifted to the left and braced, the sequence of unwinding becomes more powerful due to having the most tightest rotation, which is also very efficient. this is why i believe i can generate more swing speed than who are taller and stronger.

just my 2cents.
