And the same loft is a must!! It's a 56, so it won't be hard to replace. The bounce is not listed on the club itself, but when compared to my Titleist 5812 (12 degrees bounce) it looks to have a little less.
So I'm going with a 56 degree loft, 10 degree bounce. The most common combo, I believe.
Thanks for your thoughts everyone. I rarely hit the sand wedge on a full shot anyway, but I HATE hitting a ball with any kind of marks on it at all. Tree, path, etc.... it's OUT of play and into the junk pocket of the bag, waiting to be pulled out again when I hit the par 3 course with the kids. I would hate to do this to a ball after each and every full sand wedge I hit... but it sounds like I'll be ok.
I'm off to the bay, and global golf, for a fancy schmancy new wedge. Picking out one of your own father's day gifts is a good thing!
