I would be surprised if it didn't. Measuring a point-to-point shot distance is a really easy thing to do in software. I would bet that even if the 2007 models didn't have that function that a software upgrade would since the 2008 model has that function (according to the website).

Every golf GPS I've seen does a point-to-point measurement. If you cut across a dogleg and cutoff 400 yards on the hole with a 250 yard drive (as the crow flies) then the unit will tell you it was a 250 yard drive.

My Skycaddie SG3 has been extremely helpful in dialing in the distances I hit all of my clubs. I love the shot measuring feature and have used it a lot.
