| I think Rock would like to see "criminal negligence" that results in the death of someone, i.e. a child, become murder.
As soon as they make drunk-driving related killings a murder charge, I'll support this decision. But I have a much more vivid hatred for "accidental" killings due to drunk driving than I do "accidental killings" because a box fell out of the closet when little Jimmy (or Thomas) was looking for something on the top shelf.
Accidents happen with anything. Jimmy could be killed by an iron falling out of the closet too. Certainly a gun is MORE dangerous, and greater precautions must be taken. But murder is a crime that signifies the INTENT to end someone's life. Criminally negligent homocide, perhaps, should just carry a greater weight in court.
