I am a Canadian who owns 9 guns, including one hand gun. My father has guns, my uncles, my father in law. None of us has ever killed anyone, either intentionally or accidentally. Blaming guns for the stupidity of people is one of the reasons our society is what it is. Taking responsibility seems to be something no one wants to do, or force anyone else to do. In Canada we have to register our guns, including rifles, because that will make us safer. I can only imagine how many criminals rushed to their local registrars office with their $100 in hand. Oh yeah, did I mention it cost $100 to do this?

Gun laws are a joke in both our countries. Innocent law abiding citizens are punished for the deeds of criminals. Criminals who are never affected by the law because they don't abide by them anyways. Utterly ridiculous imo.
