OK, lets say theives and thugs get the idea that it will be easier to steal guns...so they start breaking into houses to steal guns...lets say a low number 50% of them get shot and killed by the homeowner who can now legally keep the weapon in a place close enough to defend himself and another 25% get put in jail for theft of a weapon...only 25% of attempts are making it onto the street...and hopefully when they decide to use that weapon either 1, they kill another thug and get another one off the street OR the person they try to victimize shoots them...
really, all i see this doing si getting more adn more theives and thugs off the street...bad thing? i think not.
