I don't want to drop a ton of money on clubs when I don't know if I'll stick with it, or break them over my knee in frustration. I have found several modestly priced sets that I can get in +1. The several hundred dollar jump up to +1.5 clubs is prohibitive.
Would I be okay learning on the cheap +1 clubs, or would it just help create and reinforce bad swing habits that will be hard to break if I stick with it and decide to upgrade to properly fitted clubs in the future?
I appreciate any input/advice. I'm a fish out of water with all of this. |
Definitely take Lyle up on his offer. You can get some
excellent clubs, fitted to you exactly and at a very reasonable cost. (Ask him about a set of Acer 905's

)
Also, business golf is a great thing. I do some of my best business networking and selling on the golf course with vendors and customers. Plus it beats sitting in an office somewhere...
