you can also do this w/ the wall instead of the chair. aka hogan's power move.
or, at top of your back swing, flare/fire your left knee out to the target to initiate your down swing. if you're at correct position at the top, this knee action will allow your hips to rotate, and rest of the body will follow. getting it dialed in comes from your hand-eye coordination. kicking the left knee out left of the target promotes draw, right of the target line, a fade.
