| I've done this shot many times and twice in the last two years put it to one foot of the cup from over 100 yards out UNDER some trees. Usually on the green.
Sometimes I could hardly stand erect enough to hit it. The lie has to be reasonably good, not up against a tree trunk etc.
I take my 3-iron, de-loft it and punch/chip it with locked wrists and it flys low about 50-70 yards and RUNS like mad. It's saved me many times.
