| Yes, I did play the course. I thought it was well done and it will only get better with time. Nice place to hang out for the afternoon.
The only real trouble I had was judging distances;I did not to have the gps turned on (I know better now). I also played at River Bend on the west side of Brownsville and man was it nice. I also had trouble judging distances there as well. I guess flat West Texas courses allow me a better read. Those are all I've ever reall played in my short golfing career.
I shot a 92 at SPI and a 98 at River Bend....I am a 15 cap now.
The Rio Grande Valley has some nice courses, just not enough time to play them all this week!
