| well - i ALWAYS ask the seller to confirm authenticity, if i'm in any doubt. That way, if they fail to respond to confirm it - i stay well away. Even though the ad says it is (serials can be faked) - i'd rather have the email evidence to back me up in case of dispute.
Also, regarding shipping - often people just don't think to offer worldwide - so if there's something listed in the US that I really want, i'd certainly ask if they'd ship to the UK.
Seriously, surely, ANY enquiries are better than none?? Some people like to actually dialogue with the seller, just to put their mind at rest before sending hundreds of pounds into the 'ether'
