Yeah, that's not a very good analogy.
Anyway, I do see what you're saying. This guy wasn't going to win, and he never will. He's an old man dating 25 year old uggos because thats all he'll ever get, and he'll feel better about himself because of it. He went after the pretty girl this weekend and knew he didn't stand a chance.
