Kenny Perry quits PGA Championship due to ailing eye | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press Kenny Perry withdrew with an injury to his left eye after he shot nine-over-par 79 on Thursday in the first round of the PGA Championship at Oakland Hills. Perry, who did not play in the first three majors, said the problem with his eye began Tuesday. He tore his cornea and then sought treatment from Dr. Robert Erickson, a Birmingham ophthalmologist. |
