| I remember talking with John about music. This was early on in my Shottalk life, and John was one of the first people to get to know me here. Out of the blue, he invited me to send him a hard drive to fill up with his favorite music (come and sue me, ASCAP!) and then he took the time to copy a bunch of his collected music onto that drive for me. That speaks volumes about the man.
I really really wish I could have met him, and thanked him in person. I will think of John whenever I play a song from that drive - be it a happy song or a sad song.
