I picked up a 10pack of "Almost Golf" balls from Point3 for $10. These balls are supposed to react like a real golf ball as to ballflight, fly about 1/3 as far and safe for windows and the like. I've only used them for chip/pitch shots indoors so far but very impressed. The cover is pretty firm feeling and delivers some decent feedback. They are safe for glass and even off a cat's head.
I was especially impressed by the trajectory realness off the wedges. I've seen someone hitting them outside. He was hitting a hybrid club full swing near the parking lot at a course warming up. I'm thinking "what the heck is this guy doing". The balls were only flying 50-60yds. or so.
