I love the shot as well. Yesterday I was throwing some serious darts. Don't think I hit a wedge over 12ft. off the ground. Started on the 1st hole after making a mess. I had 85yds. in from a fairway lie, ball a little below my feet, shot #4. Hit the SW about 7-8ft. off the ground with a cut and skip, skip and backed up an inch. I made the 5.

Hit a few more using PW from 90yds. to a back uphill pin and a beauty of a 60* that almost hit the flagstick off a total hardpan lie. I was most happy with that one because the 60* off a really tight lie was tough. I kept that one under a doorjamb height and exact yardage from about 45yds..

I love hitting wedges so much I'm considering bending the 'ol 50* to 51 and dropping the driver. I've got a little too much between the PW and SW. I can hit the shots with the PW but they release too much.
