Bravo is on a distinguished road
I am 50 years old and have been playing golf since I was 11.

I play approximately once a week - played 45 rounds last year. Am a member at a club. The tees I usually play give the course a length of 6350 and a Slope of 135.

My current index is 8.3. My lowest round is 73. My most common score is around an 80 in the summer and an 83-84 in the winter.

I am married with two children. I (along with other investors) have a software company that provides systems to law enforcement agencies, although I have no background in the field.

I do not change out my equipment very often.

* Titleist DCI Irons - 9 years old
* T-line putter - 16 years old
* Wilson Harmonized Sand Wedge 60* 12 bounce - 8 yo
* TM R540 Driver - 1 yo - OEM shaft (R)
* Sonartec SS-03 14/19 Fairway metals - Penley R shaft - 1 year old
* TM Rescue Mid 22 - Aldlila NV Hybrid shaft - new
* Cleveland 54* Gap wedge with 8* bounce - 5 yo

I believe that lessons and practice improve your game more than equipment.

I play in two groups on a regular basis. I get to play either on Sunday morning or Saturday morning.

My Saturday group is a bunch of guys in their late 30's early 40's who walk and play a Dogfight/Stableford. It's you against the field in a $10 bet.

My Sunday group is a bunch of guys in their mid to late 50's who ride in carts, smoke cigars and play a bunch of team bets. They are more fun.

I have a trip to Scotland planned in June. I am still uncertain if I will be able to go because of business issues. I hope to be able to confirm my trip in the next 4-5 weeks or so.

I am an alumnus of the University of Alabama. I follow Alabama football and basketball closely. My other hobbies include music. I have a large collection and a fairly decent music system throughout my house which I wired recently with Ethernet cable.

I love golf boards as they are a fun social outlet. I hope we can get much international participation here at Shot Talk.
