I have been struggling with this for quite some time now myself. I like my new 2 Ball putter and it is helping on the short putts quite a bit.
We have had a streak of very hot weather here - about 10 degrees warmer than normal while at the same time - we've had very little meaningful rainfall in the past two months. We're in a full blown drought...So our superintendent is keeping the greens up and long. They aren't shaggy by any means and putt very true but they are slooooow. I putted for about 20 minutes before teeing off on Sunday am and still three putted the first two...it is really frustrating when you hit a GIR and come away with bogey.... |
