| Swing Speed Radar is the next thing I'm going to buy if I don't get a launch monitor. Tom Wishon recommends the Swing Speed Radar in his new book because it is accurate if used according to the instructions.
I would believe the readout.
With an 85-mph swing, in order to maximize your (carry) distance, your launch angle should be about 14* if you have a 0* angle of attack.
So if you have a 10* driver, you need "almost" a 4* upward angle of attack to maximize your carry. If you can ramp up to 90MPH, you only need a 12* launch angle to maximize your distance. So an upward Angle of Attack of almost 2* will suffice. (less if you have a 10.5* obviously) |
