WTB: cheap 10° to 11° driver

for an experiment. Here's your chance to sell me your garbage, er, driver that didn't work out for you. Shaft type and flex is not that important.

No dented heads, please.

What you got for $20 and under?

Do you know the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The porcupine has its' pricks on the outside.

Let's just say that when I get done with this thing, it will be kind of short.
Hence the $20 limit.

Global Golf has a 975D for $10, so if no one has any old drivers they want to part with........................

Thanks, Jason. There are some cheap ones on Ebay as well, so I'm sure I'll find something.

If yur going to do what I think yur gonna do, you should get a 13 to 16 degree head, and put the short shaft in that. I have thought about a two driver set-up, with a 16 degree head and a 41 inch steel shaft, but than I got my R7 three wood, which I hit great.

Well, now I'm really confused. Yesterday I hit 5/14 fairways with my driver. That sucks.

Tonight, I took my old driver, the 983K 9.5° regular flex Prolite, gripped down on it, and was hitting it great. I guess it helps that I wasn't swinging out of my shoes.

I really think I need shorter than standard woods.

didn't you get measured up by Dana Upshaw a while back? Was that just an iron fitting or did he give you some recommendations on the woods as well?

That was just for irons. I suppose I could extropolate from the 5 iron length to driver length per Tom Wishons book:

5 iron 37.75" >>> Driver 43.25" ???
