R5TP Tour Issue Head - Shot Talk

OK, it's for sale. R5TP 8.5* head only. Has the serial starting with "T". It was supposidly one of Patrick Sheehan's drivers and came off the van. It has some minor scratches, I would say solid 8 to 8.5 condition. I am looking for $235 shipped to ConUS. I will trade it for any combo of 2 of the following clubs/shafts. R7 steel fairway woods, 3W and/or 5W. Rescue dual TP w/Diamana 22*. AccraSE75-S long enough for a 3W. AldilaNV Proto By-you hybrid shaft. Fuji 904HB. Also would consider an Ogio Ozone stand bag, new in red. Any and all Miura clubs will also be considered.

Not interested but is there a Difference besides the T in the serial number? People say the tolerances are fine tuned for the pros?"

I'm really not sure. I've heard some of the tour van heads are weighted heavier than the stock ones. I can still hit a 60yd. slice with it.

7 grams makes a world of difference, is the face square??? I didnt know that Taylor Made made a driver with a square face, even if it is for the TOUR!!!

Actually the tour models in many cases are open faced even. The R7-425tp is 1* open. I have a R510tp, that is almost 1* open. The R5tp is believe is square, but with accepted tolerances, could be as much as 1* in either direction.

As for the 7 grams, in indentical shafts the 2 heads would be 3 full swingweights differant.

I know, I was being a wise @ss. I have never been a big fan of Taylor Made just me though...
