My TourSwing Renegade.

Got my Tour Swing Renegade with a stiff Vengence Tour shaft today.
The head is 10* and looks well, different. You really don't notice the awkward shape at address.

Well my initial thoughts after taking it out today were good. I warmed up with irons, overall not really hitting the ball well hitting probably 30 balls before breaking out my TEE Proto. Hit a couple with that, They were fading carrying between 260-270 A little short, and lost a couple right but so be it.
Broke out the TS, just gave it a complete look over from the address standpoint, it apears closed atleast compared to my 2* open TEE. Shaft looks awesome, period. My first lick with it wasnt the greatest, caught it low on the face and had a little baby fade that only carried 260 or so. The first thing I noticed was how upon landing, this thing just took a giant hop forward and started to skirt down the range, something Im completely unfamilar with. I ended up hitting about 35 fades with it, all landing within a very very small radius. Got the majority of them up to 270-280. I then tryed to hit some draws, first one was absolutly crushed. My previous shots were coming up short of the 300 green, this one decided to hit the crest of the hill and run over the green. I then for the life of me couldnt hit another good draw.

The shaft seems stout, is this right rory? I know its supposed to be tipstiff, whats the actual torque and such? Anyhow I could not believe how solid this driver felt, you really have to hit it to understand.

Iam not 100% sure if this will become my gamer or not yet, Im going to play it all this week and continue to update this thread when my swing hopefully starts getting back to normal.

I wish I could complain about "only" 260 + roll on mishits
- looking forward to seeing the follow up

I noticed the same thing with the roll out, Crossfire. I never get roll out, but was getting a ton with the Renegade. I hit a few into the berm at the back of the range the other day (tees were up front ) and they still rolled up hill and over the berm. Highly unusual action for my swing. My drives usually get about 3 to 4 feet of roll out max.

I can not wait to get a chance to take the Renegade out to the course.

Any other reviews of this? I know a few ST'ers ordered one. Just wondering what it plays like after the Honeymoon period.

Got caught up at the show last week and did not have another opportunity to hit it, I plan to give it another go tomorrow at the range and report back on it, again.
