UST Proforce Stiff 67g

Hows this shaft.. High launch, low launch.. Spin wise..

Im looking at a certain high launch 10.5* head, just wanna know whether or not this shaft will cause it to go too high.

It wont, unless your swings a bit funky

I had one in a TEE and could still balloon it.

Quite stout.

I had it in an original HiBore and really liked that combination.

I have it in my FT-3 and it has proven reliable and consistent. Nice mid level boring trajectory. It feels like a low to mid kick point and I like the release. It never has me feeling like I need to give it any extra, the smoother I swing, the more better. One thing though, and most likely an anamoly--after about 20 rounds and a decent amount of range use, the shaft developed some hairline fractures down near the hozel. Callaway replaced with no questions asked.

Callaway woes, but they will fix it for me

Try it you'll like it. Spin is fine.

not the stiff, but...

I have that shaft in Reg, and think it's great. A bargain at @35 bucks or so too. I'd call it mid-launch. The specs are very similar to the V2, if I remember correctly...

It was mid-high for me and softer than $hit in the tip. I thought I was getting a V2 77g but 10g's lighter, not the case at all. It's way softer and higher launching than the 77g version. I was kind of pissed off about it and probably won't purchase another UST product because of it.

You must have gotten a dud, because they sure dont measure tip soft.

Maybe I'm just blowing it out of proportiona bit.... no, not me. I was swinging like crap when I had that thing in the Superquad but regarless, it did not feel like the 77g I'd tried in Twofast's Hibore at all.

i hade the same issue with that shaft in my 8.5 905r. really would of liked to try the 70 weight shaft instead.

i had the 77g in hibore and it was about avg. height to mid-high lauch. mostly due to the head though.

Aren't we talking about pro force here, not V2?

I used to have a pro force 75 in stiff and I can assure you that was real stiff in the tip and a very solid shaft, mid to low flight. I've never had the 65 series but from hitting them I don't think they were as stiff as the 75 series.

I am currently using the 67g V2 (S Flex) shaft on my 9.5* 907D2 and have no problems with it. My driver swing speed is between 110-115 but didn't see it balloon on me or anything of that sort. Also it is quite tip stiff especially with the bore through design. Also mine is at 44.5".

So far no complains. Very solid and consistant shaft. I do prefer the heavier version just because of the weight factor but performance wise they are both really good. I am also thinking about getting the fairwaywood replaced with the 90g version of V2.

pretty sure we're a bit confused here....original post is talking about that Proforce gold I believe....(NON V2)

the proforce gold is rediculously stiff imo. pretty boring mid trajectory with mid/low spin. great shaft, crappy color....
