BB solutions and 3 wood

Just a quick note here.

I shafted my 13* Cleveland Ti Launcher 3 wood with a stiff Solutions shaft tipped 1/2".

I have had a stock Cleveland Fuji shaft, a prolaunch blue, and a TM stock 425 shaft, all stiff, in this club. All resulting in a club that was average performing. It was thrown out of the bag as I was able to get exactly the same results with a 16* hybrid that was way more consistent.

I went out last Sunday and played 9 holes with the newly shafted 3 wood. It's back in the bag. Very good feel and trajectory is high and boring. Just like what I expect from a 3 wood off the deck. I believe I have picked up 15 to 20 yards. It was hard to tell exact amount as the fairways were soggy and I only hit it twice. On both par 5s (545 yards+) I was left with a 1/4 to 1/2 gap wedge pitch.

My impression is the club is now stable with good feel. Confidence --Confidence ---Confidence.

We'll have to hit each other's BB shafted 3-woods this summer and see if the head makes a difference...

Sounds like a plan. I liked the looks of that Malltby ke4 head.

I love my KE4 14º with the Solutions 130 shaft. I hit it better than any 3 wood I've ever tried. Granted, that still isn't great, but it's the Indian, not the arrow, I just need to remember when I schedule my next lesson to have him show me what I'm doing wrong off the deck.
