BirdieBall and Strikepad

The BirdieBalls themselves are amazing. Actually a really good way to get consistent with a swing without the hassle of shagging balls. They hold up fairly well. I am a digger when it comes to my swing. I take divots the size of Florida but these balls seem to take the abuse I throw at them.

Than Strikepad, however, sucks balls. They advertise that it allows golfers to strike with a downward motion but apparently it doesn't do it very well. I am using it off a flat piece of plywood in the grass and It has already lost its shape after 2 days worth of using. My clubs are all gunked up from the paint (it does scrub off eventually). The finish on my newly constructed P2s is ruined though. I am assuming from the polymer they use in the balls. There are scratches that I can't get out for the life of me.

The balls are great but the pad leaves more to be desired.

I have a set and like them as well. I have to say though, that I have had mine longer than you and my striking board is holding up pretty well. The graphics on the striking board is what rubs off on my clubs. I can the gunk off but it's irritating to have to do that everytime I use it. I like the product though.

How far do those birdie balls go? I was thinking about picking some up but I thought they might fly too far. I don't have that much yard to use maybe 30 yrds at most.

depends on the club. my 9 iron and wedges max at about 30 yards. everything else is at 40+

They sell these foam blocks to use a tees separately. I actually tee the ball really low and basically hit everything off the deck except my driver. I rarely tee up irons and fairways.

I was looking into just buying plastaic golf balls that have like 30 % of the real ball flight, but im not sure if they give me the correct ball flight ? Have you used these, becxause i mixed these up with birdie balls, so i dont think i was actrually interested in buying birdie balls. Thanks-

I use wiffle balls and you get what you pay for. I keep denting them and shanking the he** out of them.

Yep that'll be the balls fault.

I got these yellow rubber balls form the First Tee, from Walmart, and I think they give you a real ball flight. They fly pretty far though,i drive like 1809 maybe 30 yards more with my new swing" Or more !" and they go like 80 yards. And i think they were less than 5 bucks, maybe less than four bucks for 4 balls. You guys might want to look into it !
