Bridgestone e6

This was last years model and I played the whole round today using 2 balls, would have been one but I sliced one into a pond. My fault, not the balls fault (I think) .

This ball has equal distance off the tee, maybe a little longer than its competitors. Where the ball shines for me is with mid to short irons and on and around the green. Feels great coming off the putter or wedge. For $20/dozen you can't really go wrong.

Bridgestone makes a great ball..............I'm hooked on the B330's now (when I can afford them). They're long, have great feel, and hold the greens like glue.

I completely agree as I just played an entire round with a single e6 on Friday. This ball was a solid alternative to premium balls when it was $25-30/doz and now that it can be found for $20/doz, you'd be a FOOL to pass them up.

I haven't played the new "+" line and I won't until the previous models can't be found.

Can anyone tell me the differences in playing the e5 and the e6? Not the + models, the originals.

One of them sucks. The other one sucks less.

Which is which, oh wise one?

I've been playing the e5 and it's not a bad ball, just wondering if the e6 is better in any way.

From what I read, and the reason I went with the e6 is that it is a 3 piece and the e5 is a 2 piece. So in theory you should be able to generate a little more spin with an e6 vs. and e5. That being said I have not played the e5, so this post could be completely worthless to you LOL

I played a e6+ (that I found in the woods) a few holes yesterday.

It had good distance and decent feel.

It also had a decided propensity to 3 putt.

I've played both the E5 and E6. To tell you the truth I could not see alot of difference between them even though they're supposed to be different. And I got my first ace ever last year with an E5.

I bought some e6's and tried them for a round. Felt like a rock to me. I can spin the Topflite D2-Distance better.

i've got some e5's and e6's left over in the bag - it's weird, because I think the e6 is a 3 piece ball so you'd expect it to spin more, but it's got a suryln or similar cover that you'd normally find on distance balls - the e5 on the other hand is 2 piece, but has a urethane cover - I think I get a bit more spin with the e5, and I like both, but I seem to score better with the D2 feel
