The Burner is an awesome club, I have owned an Adams, FT-3, G2, R7-460, Nickent, Burner, etc & keep coming back to the Burner. Willing to try ohters out but ultimately they all get tossed up on ebay.

I tried the G2 and the G5, and couldn't see any reason to own one. I'm SURE the G10 is MUCH better...

Eracer
There is no comparison between the G2/G5 and the newer Rapture/G10. Totally different animals. But all you see is Ping on it and lose out on the club that could be your "Saviour"...

(Trust me... I've owned them all)....

Will see how the New used Burner works out tomorrow & if it goes as well as my old one did this Nickent is outta here.
It's probably the stiff V2, I bought mine with regular shaft but it felt like an uber stiff shaft compared to the regular flex 50 gram RE*AX in the 07 Burner. It also felt very similar to the stiff stock shaft in the Hi-Bore XLS and G10 that I hit back to back.

The swing weight is also a bit heavier than I'm used to. Last night I had it trimmed 1" down to 44.5" and WOW it's a completely different club. It's much easier to manage and the swing weight went from D3 to right at D0 which sounds crazy but feels GREAT to me. I went from slicing it 200-200 (hitting it on the toe and heel) to hitting it dead square in the middle of the face today 3-4 times which increased my distance to an average of 250 and a long drive of 275. My friend's dad played with us and saw me bomb it down the middle. He asked to hit it and promptly hooked it about 2 holes over and said he hated it and commented on how it sounds awful.

With all that being said, I'm probably still buying the Burner and then selling either the 3DX square or the 4DX or maybe both.

Wow, you can't get crap for these clubs on ebay. Someone is selling them for $65 not including shipping. The damn shaft alone almost sells for that much. Was going to try & unload it but am unwilling to take a 30%+ loss so quickly. Will hang onto it for awhile, maybe sell it to someone at work.

They're $99 new at any retail store anyways. Besides the guy that's selling them for $65 probably wants 20 for shipping.

Close, he wants $18 for shipping, still that's only $83 delivered. Saves gas, time & $16 by buying from him. Just wish he wasn't selling them so cheap.

Don't forget saving on sales tax too But alas, some people like me are too impatient and run off to the nearest retail outlet and snag one. We're talking 20 bucks difference not $200. I feel your pain though, I have a 4DX Draw to sell that I bought on impulse.

Sold the Nickent to a friend at work, he swings a hell of a lot faster than I do & really likes the club. Got $80 for it, so while I lost a little bit, it wasn't too bad.
