well, today i went out to play 9 and was absolutely sucking it up, playing like it was my first time. well, I was slicing the Nickent worse than normal, and I don't know if it was because of this or what, but on the last hole, I swing what feels like the best swing all morning, and I look up and I'm holding just a shaft =( It was only 100 dollars, but it was 100 dollars! lol, I'm lucky I've got the Cleveland back home in Texas that Slingblade gave me. So I guess I've got a Nickent square head and a Proforce V2 R flex shaft for sale, lol

edit: it was also less than a month old =[ bought it on the 17th of last month, and i JUST threw the receipt away this week i think

That sucks - contact them, though, they may send you another one. I haven't had to deal with their customer service, but I gather it's top notch from a guy on golfwrx that had to deal with them. When I registered my clubs (it doubles your warranty, so I figured what the heck) I put in the comments how much I liked the look, feel and quality of the product - I actually got a personalized e-mail thanking me for my words, and then a few weeks later a hat showed up at my house. So at least one person there is pretty nice. It's worth a try at least. They probably won't give too much grief about the receipt because I think their clubs have a 2-year warranty and the 3dx square has only been out for a little over a year (I think,) so it couldn't be out of warranty anyway.

The head can be salvaged. The shaft is useful as a tomato stake.

Someone with a 150mph swing speed might be able to use it. I'd imagine a V2 tipped ~1.5" should cpm about the same as a piece of galvanized pipe.

just emailed them. the way I was playing today, I might as well been playing with just a shaft, absolute crap, so I'm taking a couple days off. I might go pick up a used 3 wood, since I didn't pick one up when I put my bag together, that way I can have something to use for these next two weeks before I move back to Texas while I wait it out to see what these guys are going to do.

Just checked Nickent's site, they're actually having a couple demo days within 15 minutes from post before I leave...might go check it out.

Have any of you 3dx square users tried the 4DX draw? I just picked up a 4DX on an impulse buy, hope it works out.

My 3dx Square came in the mail yesterday. After reading the above post I was happy when the head didn't come off the first time I hit it.

Anyway, after one range session I'm pretty happy. I never hit my driver well and usually tee off with a 3 wood or hybrid but this one feels pretty good. I'll see how it actually plays this weekend.

It's been BAD lately. Yesterday I bought the 4DX driver, and went in to just get my 3DX square (which I bought 2 weeks ago) cut down and re-gripped. Realized I needed a gap wedge and bought TWO (Mizuno MP-T black nicke for a VERY good price and Adams Watson 07) because I couldn't decide and one happened to be dirt cheap. 3 clubs in 1 day, and to top it off I hit the TM 07 Burner on the advice of the club tech and I absolutely LOVED it more than any other driver I've ever hit. So there's a strong possibility I could buy my 3rd driver in under a month. I suppose it beats buying $1,200 a set race tires for my Lotus every 3 months.

Pretty sure I will be putting the Nickent on the chopping block, maybe it's the stiff V2 shaft but the distance with this thing is horrible. When I am swinging the FT-3 decently it easily outguns this club by 20+ yards & it has a stiff Adilia NVS. It's easy enough to hit straight but when my 3w is a mere 10 yds behind it why even bother?

Will see how the New used Burner works out tomorrow & if it goes as well as my old one did this Nickent is outta here.

To this day I have no earthly idea why I don't own the '07 Burner. I loved it when I tested it.

Because you are secretly coveting the G10.

I tried the G2 and the G5, and couldn't see any reason to own one. I'm SURE the G10 is MUCH better...
